Vince Vaughn heads to TV land

    By: preme | On: 21 Oct, 2008

    Vince Vaughn TV series

Movie star Vince Vaughn is making the move to TV in an upcoming show with 20th Century Fox TV.

He’s close to inking a deal that will see him executive produce a half hour comedy pilot about a couple of young guys who are fresh out of college and learning all about the real world. Thankfully Vaughn won’t be playing the role of one of the college guys and will remain behind the camera at this stage.

Looks like Vaughn will be in charge of casting the show and dealing with the crew also, so he’s being given plenty of space to develop this in his own way. Should be interesting to see what he comes up with. For now though, you can look forward to seeing Vaughn in upcoming movie Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon.

    Mirrors

    By: preme | On: 13 Aug, 2008

It’s been nearly a year since volatile detective Ben Carson was suspended from the NYPD for fatally shooting another undercover officer, an accident that not only cost him his job, but fueled the alcoholism and anger that has alienated his wife and kids and left him crashing on his sister’s couch in Queens. Desperate to pull his life together, Carson takes a job as a night watchman at the burned-out ruins of the Mayflower department store, which was destroyed by a massive fire that devoured numerous innocent lives. As Carson patrols the eerie, charred remains of the store, he begins to notice something sinister about the ornate mirrors that adorn the Mayflower walls.

Reflected in the gigantic shimmering glass are horrific images that stun Carson. Beyond projecting gruesome images of the past, the mirrors appear to be manipulating reality as well. When Carson sees his own reflection being tortured, he suffers the physical effects of his fractured visions. His sympathetic but skeptical sister Angela dismisses these bizarre nightmares as a consequence of his stress and guilt over the accidental shooting, but Carson’s estranged wife Amy, a no-nonsense NYPD medical 2 examiner, is less forgiving. Her husband’s increasingly erratic behavior frightens her, pushing his family farther away–and, she fears, it’s putting their children in danger. As Carson investigates the mysterious disappearance of a Mayflower security guard and its possible connection to his ghastly visions, he realizes that a malevolent, otherworldly force is using reflections as a gateway to terrorize him and his family. Carson must somehow uncover the truth behind the mirrors–and convince Amy to help him battle the greatest evil he has ever faced.

    Meet Dave

    By: preme | On: 10 Jul, 2008

The frustrating asia Eddie Murphy is that even if he needs to be done terrible movies, it is not the case, because he is somehow inherently less talented than he used to be. He did not Chevy Chase, he is still something to offer, it’s just that he has inexplicably decided to use, regardless of talent, he is left of the tank is the most horrible comedy projects in Hollywood has to offer. What makes it even more strange is the fact that he has decided to do this.

It is not the case, as he has ceased to earn, and he has been forced to do anything and everything he offered in order to pay off all the back taxes he owes Uncle Sam, so he is up to the end, the cot next to Wesley Snipes. Eddie Murphy is a choice, but he has deliberately chosen to make films like Norbit and now the same director Meet Dave.

It is only because the people involved in it is really so naturally gifted that Meet Dave is not to destroy the laughter, the soul sucking, the A-bomb. It’s just blah. Cast here is much better than the film, such as this deserves. Eddie Murphy will lead a group of microscopic aliens who have entered the country riding inside the spacecraft, which seems, oddly enough, just like Eddie Murphy.

Eventually, they name their spacecraft, Dave. Dave’s crew includes a great talent such as the increasingly sexy Gabrielle Union, Office asshole Ed Helms, 30, and Rock the hat to the user’s Judah Friedlander. They are looking for our planet some sort of the probe, in which their people are sent here to steal our oceans. The probe has been held, 5th grader, whose mother, Elizabeth is played “some day I’ll regret having this film in my IMDB page” banks, accidentally hits Dave with her car and starts dating him completely oblivious of the fact that he is really an empty vehicle operated by dozens of tiny little dudes.
